Pace holds public hearing Tuesday in Round Lake Heights

Pace Suburban Bus is holding a public hearing from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the village of Round Lake Heights board room, 619 W. Pontiac Court, on the proposed permanent expansion of the Round Lake Area On Demand service.

The service was expanded as part of a pilot project in August 2023 with another vehicle added to accommodate the larger service area.

Ridership increased since the expansion and Pace is proposing to make Round Lake Area On Demand service changes permanent.
