Wesley UMC’s sermon series to explore children's books
On Sunday, Aug. 11, Lead Pastor Tammy Scott at Wesley United Methodist Church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora, will continue her sermon series titled “You are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.”
Sunday worship is at 9:30 a.m. online and 10:30 a.m. in person. The public is invited. The weekly sermons are based on children's books by acclaimed author and illustrator Nancy Tillman.
Continuing through Sept. 1, the series and companion-book schedule is: “Wherever You Are My Home will Find You” on Aug. 11; “You're All Kinds of Wonderful” on Aug. 18; “You're Here for a Reason” on Aug. 25; and “The Crown on your Head” on Sept. 1.
