The unfair burden of a driving test
So, here I am once again, at almost 89, faced with yet another driving test.
I thought Illinois was making progress in removing this from the books, but alas, I guess we will remain the only state that has this requirement forever.
I’m really not worried about the actual driving test and have no qualms about passing; however, it’s just another burden put upon us old folks by young guys who really have no idea how this makes us feel. I think we have enough on our plates what with medications, hearing aids, glasses, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs and such to fill our days.
So can we please eradicate this unneeded burden once and finally?
