Naperville to celebrate two playground reopenings in August

The Naperville Park District will celebrate the reopening of playgrounds at Central Park and South Pointe Park in August.
A grand reopening celebration for the playground at Central Park, 104 E. Benton Ave., is scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. The reopening celebration for South Pointe Park’s playground, at 5504 Switch Grass Lane, will be at 5 p.m. Aug. 13.
Naperville Park Board President Mary Gibson will speak at both events. Light refreshments will be provided.
In the event of bad weather, the reopening celebrations will be held the following day.
