DuPage County awarded third AAA bond rating

DuPage County has earned a AAA bond rating from Fitch Ratings.

Fitch is the latest to give DuPage County its highest bond rating. The county also has AAA bond ratings from Moody’s Investors Services and Standard & Poor’s Rating Service. Fewer than 2% of all U.S. counties have AAA ratings from all three major rating services.

“This action is a result of DuPage County’s dedication to thoughtful planning and fiscal responsibility,” DuPage County Board Chairwoman Deborah Conroy said.
