Batavia church to celebrate birthday with Wheels North concert

The Congregational Church of Batavia is celebrating its 189th birthday from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, with a free outdoor concert.

Fox Valley favorite Wheels North, a progressive newgrass band, will perform on the church grounds, 21 S Batavia Ave.

They offer powerful three-part harmonies, skillfully crafted song arrangements, and an enticing catalog of originals and covers. Their live show is engaging, energetic, and just plain fun.

Join in the celebration. All are welcome. Bring your own chair for seating. There will be no cover charge but donations are appreciated.
