Nothing will change
At the end of President Trump’s term, gasoline cost $2.55/gallon, the CPI inflation rate was 1.4% and the world was relatively at peace. During his four years in office, approximately 2.5 million illegal immigrants were apprehended by Border Patrol, many were detained and many were deported, and he worked closely with Mexico and South American countries to process asylum claims. Aside from Trump’s immature behavior at times, his policies were working.
Today, gasoline costs $4.20/gallon, the CPI inflation rate is 3.6%, down from 7.5% in 2022, hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in the wars in Ukraine and Israel and 13 U.S. servicemen were killed by the Taliban during the departure from Afghanistan. During President Biden’s administration, approximately 8.5 million illegal immigrants have been apprehended by Border Patrol, some have been detained, some have been deported, but millions have been given bus or plane rides to various cities around the country and put up in hotels, at U.S. taxpayer expense.
In early 2024, President Biden was chosen by Democratic voters in the primaries to run for another term, but recently because of poor poll numbers, he was forced by powerful people in the Democratic Party to withdraw from the race. He had the full support of the Democratic Party until very recently when his poll numbers dropped, which means the powerful people in the Democratic Party did not have a problem with $4.20/gallon gasoline, high inflation, two major wars that U.S. taxpayers are spending billions of dollars on and millions of illegal immigrants that U.S. taxpayers are providing travel and hotel accommodations for.
It seems that President Biden was doing exactly what the powerful people in the Democratic Party wanted him to. Do you think anything will change with the next candidate they pick?
