New pastor installed at Carol Stream church

On Sunday, July 21, the Rev. Kenneth Estes was installed as the new pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carol Stream.

“I’m beyond blessed to be joining the Carol Stream community as pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church,” said Estes. “Come and see what we’re all about. Be a part of our ministry as we gather to worship and serve the community.”

Estes is a May 2024 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. In June 2024, he was ordained a pastor at his home church in Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Florida. In his third year of medical school, he was called to church ministry.

Our Savior Lutheran Church is a part of the St. Louis-headquartered Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. The denomination has more than 1.9 million members in more than 6,000 congregations. The LCMS operates the largest Protestant parochial school system in America.

Worship is at 9:30 a.m. Sundays at the church, 1244 W. Army Trail Road. It is also livestreamed. For information, visit www.oursavior.com or facebook.com/OurSaviorCS/.
