Bier Rock Fest at Buffalo Creek Brewing Aug. 2-3
Buffalo Creek Brewing’s (BCB) biergarten paradise will transform into the suburbs’ hardest rocking concert venue during the second annual Bier Rock Fest.
This year, BCB has upped the ante and doubled the lineup for a true musical “festival” vibe. Every inch of the biergarten, from the tiered patio to the sprawling lawns adorned with picnic tables and fire pits, will be alive with the sights and sounds of local rock artists — including some legendary pioneers from Chicago’s punk scene in their new bands.
The free summer music fest features two days of handcrafted suds highlighted by a special release called The Mash Pit, German beer games, and live music. The event, which benefits the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund — a charity organization dedicated to unlocking educational opportunities for talented Chicago-area students facing financial need — will run from 4 to 11 p.m. on Aug. 2 and 2 to 11 p.m. on Aug. 3.
In addition to all the hard rocking on the main stage, the biergarten will also have food trucks on hand that pair up great with cold beer and high temps. The music lineup is as follows:
Friday, Aug. 2:
4-5 p.m., Wiat, What?!, solo act
5:30-6:30 p.m., Full of Moxie, Chicago pop punk band
7-8 p.m., Space Age Zeros, Chicago pop punk
8:30-9:30 p.m., The Iron Spiders, Chicago punk rock
Saturday, Aug. 3:
4-5 p.m., Inbound, alternative hard rock
5:30-6:30 p.m., Timeless Ideals, alternative rock
7-8 p.m. Rememories Band, Emo/pop punk band
8:30-9:30 p.m., DAMJAX, rock 'n' roll
