Illinois Equine Humane Center to host 16th annual ‘Barnyard Bash’ Aug. 10
The Illinois Equine Humane Center invites the community to its 16th annual “Barnyard Bash” on Saturday, Aug. 10.
It will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the farm, 47W635 Beith Road in Maple Park. This fun family event is held annually to benefit the rescued horses in the center’s care.
The nonprofit equine rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption organization is dedicated to helping horses in need and improving the welfare of horses in general.
The “Barnyard Bash” is an opportunity for the public to lend its support of the ILEHC’s equine rescue efforts, learn about horses, all while having a fun filled day at the farm.
The event includes a silent auction featuring gift baskets, vacation packages, local experiences, and more.
The event also includes live music by the band Outpatience, as well as Dave’s Slow Food Trucks and Sweet Station, raffles, games, bouncy house, kids agility course, a visit from Maple Park Fire Department, and more.
Cost is $20 or $10 for ages 6 to 12. For information, visit www.ilehc.org or email info@ilehc.org.
