Geneva store damaged by fire
A Geneva business suffered smoke and heat damage in a fire Monday morning.
The fire happened around 6:45 a.m. at a house in the 100 block of Hamilton Street, authorities said.
A city news release did not name the business. But on Facebook, the owners of Pärla said it was their business.
Pärla is a boutique selling clothing, jewelry, home decor and gift items.
The fire started in the front interior. The cause remains under investigation.
Nobody was injured.
