‘Bike buses’ organized for Geneva concert

The Geneva Bike and Pedestrian Committee has organized “bike buses” for people going to the weekly Concert in the Park on July 24 at River Park.

Bicyclists will meet on three routes and ride together. There are three routes. All start at 6:30 p.m.

The Williamsburg Route will leave from Williamsburg Elementary School, 1812 Williamsburg Ave., stop at 6:35 p.m. at Geneva High School’s main entrance on McKinley Avenue for more riders, then stop at 6:40 p.m. at Wheeler Park on the Stevens Street side.

The Western Avenue Route will leave from Western Avenue School, 1500 Western Ave., and stop at 6:35 p.m. at the softball field at Dryden Park, 603 Western Ave., then 6:40 p.m. at the main entrance to the Geneva Public Library, 227 S. Seventh St.

The East Side Route will meet at Moore Park, 877 Geneva Drive, then stop at 6:35 p.m. at the gazebo at Bennett Park, 328 N. Bennett St. The concert is at 7 p.m. Riders will depart on their own.
