Miller Road at Route 12 construction underway

Construction crews are installing temporary traffic signals and relocating a water main crossing as part of work to widen and resurface Miller Road at Route 12 in Lake Zurich.

A new traffic pattern is expected to go into effect this week. Lanes will be marked to help traffic through the intersection.

Once the new traffic pattern is in place workers will begin removing old pavement and installing storm sewers.

The project limit is on Miller from 700 feet west of Route 12 to Holly Circle east of Route 12. Miller is being widened and resurfaced to provide dedicated left-turn lanes and sidewalks at the intersection.
