St. Petronille ministry to host SparkFest Aug. 9

St. Petronille Youth Adult and Youth Ministry is hosting SparkFest, an outdoor family music event, on Friday, Aug. 9.

It will be 6 to 10 p.m. at St. Petronille Catholic Church, 420 Glenwood Ave. in Glen Ellyn.

Bring your friends and chairs for a high energy, family-friendly outdoor music festival featuring professional local talent Gavin Coyle, CHEF, Indigo Skies and Jack Kenny, playing rock, alternative, folk and favorites.

Food and drinks available for purchase including beer and wine. There will be free children’s activities.

Proceeds benefit St. Petronille Youth and Young Adult Ministries and those they serve. Tickets are $10 or $25 for a family.

St. Petronille Young Adults is for Catholic young adults, ages 18-35. On the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 7 p.m., they gather for an hour of Adoration followed by a social at a local bar/restaurant.
