Love singing? Voices Unlimited Chorus welcomes new members
Voices Unlimited Chorus is accepting new singers as they start up their fall rehearsal schedule in preparation for the Nov. 24 holiday concert.
Did you sing in high school or college, or maybe in a church choir or a concert chorus? Or just maybe you have the talent to sing, but right now are what’s called a “choral orphan,” with no place to showcase your talent.
If you fit the description, the Voices Unlimited Chorus may be the place for you. It was founded by David Barth, who has been directing for more than 55 years.
You don’t have to read music, be a soloist, or even audition. The chorus does have solo quality voices and members who read music, but it’s not a requirement for membership. The two requirements are you want to sing and have fun doing it!
If you are interested or have questions, contact David Barth at davidabarth@comcast.net or (630) 707-1221.
Rehearsals are 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 3 to Nov. 19, in the Bowes Creek Regency Clubhouse, 3651 Centennial Way in Elgin.
