Driver seriously injured in single-vehicle crash in Inverness
A driver sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries, in a Sunday evening crash in Inverness, authorities said.
The unidentified male driver was traveling northbound on Roselle Road near Loch Lomond Drive at about 8 p.m. when he apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a nearby wooded area, Inverness police officials said.
The driver was unconscious when emergency workers arrived. He was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Medical Center in Park Ridge.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
