President is the best option for the country

Here we are again. We had two old white guys running for president in 2020, and the same two old white guys are running in 2024. Nothing has changed except they are both older.

I believe President Joe Biden would not be running for reelection if former President Donald J. Trump had acted like the previous 44 presidents and accepted the peaceful transfer of power. Trump lost in 2020 because voters felt his presidency was chaotic. They chose Biden because they felt he had the experience and the character to lead the country out of COVID.

Biden and his administration did that and much more. His legislative record is outstanding; his jobs numbers are record breaking; the stock market is higher than ever; inflation is coming down. This is not a one-person job. Biden has surrounded himself with the best and the brightest, with Vice President Harris a heartbeat from him. Reelect him and expect more of the same high-quality governing.

By contrast, elect Trump, and you are electing a convicted felon who will surround himself, not only with other felons but, with the architects of Project 2025. If you don’t know about this 900-page manifesto which maps out the dismantling of our government, learn about it before November.

We are able, as voters, to compare the presidencies of two men. We’ve never had that opportunity in our history. Biden’s presidency has been much more successful than Trump’s was. There is no reason to go back to the chaos of a Trump presidency. We need to stick with the continuity of the Biden Administration and give him and them another four years.
