Neighborhood Nights at Gurnee parks
The Gurnee Park District is hosting free events at neighborhood parks from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays during July and August.
Games and crafts for kids aged 4 to 10 will be featured, and the Warren-Newport Public Library bookmobile will be on site. The first stop is July 10 at University Park, west of Route 41 and south of Grand Avenue at 3858 University Ave.
The next three stops are Christine Thompson, Betty Russell and Ravinia parks.
