Arlington Heights seeking nominations for disability employment award

Arlington Heights’ Commission for Citizens with Disabilities is seeking nominations for its Disability Employment Awareness Award.

The award is presented to an Arlington Heights employer who proactively recruits, hires, and employs persons with disabilities.

Nominations can be made by an employee, community member or the business. All nominations must be submitted by Tuesday, Aug. 13. The winner will be honored at the Oct. 21 village board meeting.
