Brooks Gosswein’s complete game leads Chicago Dogs to 6-2 win

Brooks Gosswein, the starting pitcher for the Dogs, had shined in his three prior starts, throwing 16⅔ innings while allowing just three earned runs.

The Dogs scored a 6-2 victory Wednesday night against Sioux Falls.

Gosswein’s recent excellence carried over into his start against Sioux Falls, throwing a complete game, allowing zero earned runs on six hits, striking out four batters.

The Dogs found themself on the scoreboard early, scoring a run in the first inning after Brantley Bell doubled, advanced to third off of an error, then scored on a Jacob Teter single.
