Police: Man shot in possible road rage incident in Carol Stream

A man was shot Thursday night in what Carol Stream police believe was a road rage event, officials said.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. in the parking lot of a store on the 400 block of West Army Trail Road, police said in a news release.

The man was shot in the leg; he had surgery and was stable as of Friday afternoon, according to police.

Police have suspect in custody, but so far, charges have not been filed.
