No injuries in Lombard truck fire

A Thursday evening fire in Lombard remains under investigation, according to the Lombard Fire Investigations Unit.

Officials said, the fire department received a call at 8:52 p.m. about black smoke near North Avenue and Route 53.

Firefighters arrived at 8:57 p.m. on the 1000 block of North Rohlwing Road and found three semi-trucks on fire. It took firefighters around 25 minutes to extinguish the fire, and no injuries were reported.

Damage was estimated to be around $115,000, and the cause is still undetermined, officials said.
