Annual Long Grove Strawberry Fest runs through Sunday
The Long Grove Strawberry Fest kicked off Friday in the village’s historic downtown. The fest has strawberry-centered cuisine, family activities and entertainment.
Treats include chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry funnel cakes, doughnuts and ice cream. Entertainment includes 7th Heaven, The Gingers, Hi Infidelity, School of Rock Barrington and Hillbilly Rockstarz Presents: Don’t Rock the Jukebox.
The festival continues 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 22; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 23. Admission is $5 per person through longgrove.org/festivals/strawberry-fest/. Free admission for ages 12 and younger.
