The hostage rescue

Regarding the freed Israeli hostages, it is interesting that neither the media (nor Egypt) focused on the fact these hostages were found hidden in the Nuseirat refugee camp; held in two locations there by armed Hamas; and came under heavy weapons fire by them in the refugee camp. Is that what a “refugee camp” is for? What do the leaders of Hamas and their supporters say about that?
