Two hurt after crash in Antioch

Two people were transported to the hospital following a T-bone crash at the intersection of Route 173 and Deercrest Drive in Antioch Monday night.

Firefighters had to cut the driver’s side door off one vehicle to reach one of the injured patients, officials said.

The conditions of the two people transported was not immediately known. Several others were treated at the scene and released, fire officials said.

The crash happened just before 7:45 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation. Police have not released any information about citations.
