Official: Two teens critically injured in Jet Ski crash on Lake Marie near Antioch

Two teen girls are in critical condition after a Jet Ski accident Tuesday on the Chain O’ Lakes near Antioch, officials said.

Crews responded to a crash between a Jet Ski and a boat on Lake Marie, Antioch Fire Department Fire Chief Jon Cokefair said.

The two teens were taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville in critical condition; a male witness also was taken to Condell, Cokefair said.

The Lake County Sheriff is investigating.
