Funding for climate change projects discussed at town hall meeting

Learn about available state and federal funding to invest in projects to combat climate change at a town hall meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 27 at Waukegan Public Library, 128 N. County St.

Available benefits will be discussed at The Inflation Reduction Act: Federal Funding for Lake County town hall.

The event is co-hosted by the Illinois Environmental Council, Clean Power Lake County, the offices of U.S. Sen. Tammy Duckworth and state Rep. Rita Mayfield.

Sustainability Programs Manager Robin Grooms will speak about Lake County sustainability programs available to residents.
