Go fishing with Mundelein police

The Mundelein Police Department’s annual Cops N Bobbers fishing derby is set for July 13.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon at the Mundelein Seminary, 1000 E. Maple Ave. People should enter the seminary grounds from Route 45.

Entry is free and registration isn’t needed. Participants 16 or older need state fishing licenses.

A limited number of fishing poles and a limited amount of bait will be available for free use.

People should pack picnic lunches.
