Show professionalism in WNBA

I wholeheartedly agree with Mr. Beck's opinion of this situation in the WNBA.The league has an excellent opportunity to grow its product, and two rookie punks are trying to make themselves the focal point.

Chennedy Carter's flagrant foul against Caitlin Clark was unnecessary and a cheap shot. By who, another rookie? Where does she come off? If you see something like that from a veteran player, although it doesn't make it right, it is a bit more understandable. Happens in most other sports. And coach, she's not much help having a simple conversation about how to act. A benching would certainly be in line if she were acting the coach and not trying to be best friends.

Regarding Angel Reese, fined for not meeting with the media and ejected for arguing with the referee, is anyone speaking with these players about professionalism and representing the organization? I have to be honest. My opinion was formed two years ago in the NCAA Finals with the "Can't see me" hand gesture and pointing to the ring finger at the conclusion of the game. Clearly, she is classless and will probably never come close to being the professional the WNBA needs to represent it, but it is certainly early enough for both players to turn things around.
