The many red flags of the Trump verdict

The June 2 paper trumpeted the GOP attack on the justice system. I see it another way. The attack is on the people running the justice system. Let’s review.

Alvin Bragg and Fani Willis both ran for office promising to “get” Trump. (Red flag). Bragg took a misdemeanor bookkeeping charge that exceeded the statute of limitations and created a new law (Red flag). The new law has yet to be defined but the judge gave the jury a smorgasbord of choices. (Red flag). BTW, did Joe Biden and Tony Blinkin violate the new law when they got 51 signatures on a letter falsely stating Hunter’s laptop was a Russian hoax?

The judge in the Trump case was a contributor to the Biden election and didn’t let a key Trump witness testify (Red flag). The judge did allow Stormy Daniels to testify for days about the salacious details of her encounter with Trump even though her testimony had nothing to do with Bragg’s case. (Red flag).

Finally, the instructions to the jury were so complex that it took 100 minutes to deliver them. (Red flag).

Even the CNN chief legal analyst agreed that it was a kangaroo court. Maybe flags should be flying upside down, we have crossed the Rubicon.
