Arlington Heights Nurses Club awards scholarships

The Arlington Heights Nurses Club has awarded scholarships to six outstanding nursing students in the Arlington Heights community.

The club awarded the scholarships to the following students:

•. Sarah Prommer, a graduate nursing student at the University of Illinois Chicago hoping to become a nurse-midwife and educator. She has been awarded the Joan Wasielewski scholarship

•. Kaylie Loving is a graduate nursing student in DePaul University’s Masters Entry Nursing Program. She has been awarded the Joan Butkus scholarship

. Caitlin Saso will be a senior in St. Louis University’s Nursing Program.

•. Megan Saso will be a senior in St. Louis University’s Nursing Program.

•. Szende Gereb is in her last year in Harper College’s Nursing Program. She has received the Martha Jackson Award.

•. Natsumi Yamaha is in her last year in Harper College’s Nursing Program.

The Arlington Heights Nurses Club has served the community since 1938. The club offers a Lending Closet to residents of Arlington Heights, which provides medical equipment without a fee and continues it service from donations only, which supports the purchase of new equipment and the nursing scholarship program.
