Elk Grove Television wins regional award for PSA

Elk Grove Television, the village of Elk Grove’s multi-award-winning government access cable channel, won an Excellence Award in the 2024 Best of the Midwest Media Fest Award Ceremony. The ceremony is held by the Wisconsin Community Media and the Alliance for Community Media — Midwest region at their annual conference.

The Pace Rider ID Public Service Announcement video, produced by Scott Mayernick, multimedia producer for Elk Grove Television, was given an Excellence Award in the Public Service Announcement — Professional Category. Awards are given to the best of over 160 entries from community media centers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and Minnesota.

This video was created and published to village’s social media pages and was used in regular Elk Grove Television programming to share information about the new Pace Rider ID registration requirements in the community.
