Maine Township offering dumpster to residents this week
Maine Township residents who want to get rid of furniture or other large household items will find that task a bit easier this weekend.
A dumpster will be available on Emerson Street between Hamlin Avenue and Dee Road in Des Plaines from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Maine Township officials announced.
On Saturday, a dumpster will be set up at township headquarters, 1700 Ballard Road in Park Ridge, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
No electronics or hazardous waste will be accepted.
