Naperville Woman’s Club hosts a school drive on July 17

The Naperville Woman’s Club, a 501(c)(3) charity, is conducting a school supply drive for children of Indian Prairie Unit District 204.

They are looking for backpacks, crayon markers, crayons, colored pencils, pencil boxes, glue sticks, and accordion folders.

Drop off your donations between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at the back entrance of the clubhouse, located on Court Place, just off Benton Avenue.

The Naperville Woman’s Club focuses its philanthropic activities on art, education, and community service.

​During the 2023-24 club year, the club donated a total of $32,993. Recipients included:

• Local food pantries: Loaves & Fishes, St. Thomas the Apostle food pantry and People's Resource Center.

• Educational organizations: North Central College, College of DuPage, Naperville Unit District 203, and Indian Prairie Unit District 204.

• Other: Canine Companions, Doctors Without Border, Kids Matter, Metropolitan Family Services, NAMI DuPage, Strong Families, and Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.
