Motorcylist seriously injured in Bartlett crash

A motorcyclist was left with life-threatening injuries following a collision with a sedan Monday evening in Bartlett.

Bartlett police said the crash happened just before 8:20 p.m. near the intersection of Lake Street and Elizabeth Drive.

Police said the motorcyclist was headed west on Lake Street when it collided with the passenger side of a Toyota Camry that was turning left onto Elizabeth Drive from eastbound Lake Street.

The motorcyclist and a passenger in the sedan were transported a hospital. The passenger’s injuries were not considered life threatening, police said.

Lake Street was closed for about four hours. The crash remains under investigation. No citations have been issued.
