Campaign will be interesting
Finally, after eight years of attempting to pin some felony action on Donald Trump, the Democrats have succeeded, even though this conviction may be overturned on appeal. Given this verdict along with all the other attempts to get something meaningful on him, it's easy to see why he would want to seek retribution if he is elected again. However, if he wants to win over independents he should stop blaming these efforts on Biden and stop suggesting that he's out for vengeance. Given Trump's prior behavior, this is unlikely, and while perhaps popular with his base, it won't sway voters who may be on the fence. It should be an interesting political campaign.
