Tri-Cities traffic safety campaign results announced
From May 20 to May 27, police officers from St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia concentrated on a traffic safety campaign on Randall Road, Route 31, Route 25 and Kirk Road.
The officers focused on violations most commonly associated with serious crashes.
Overall, 290 drivers were stopped for violations, including speeding, distracted driving, not wearing a seat belt, and failing to move over a lane when emergency vehicles are on the side of the road.
