Firefighter suffers minor injury battling Naperville house fire
A Naperville firefighter suffered minor injuries battling an early Monday morning house fire on the 24W700 block of 75th Street.
Firefighters were called to the vacant home just after 3:40 a.m.
It took nearly 90 minutes to bring the fire under control due to limited access to the home through heavy overgrowth of trees and brush.
The fire gutted the house and left it uninhabitable, fire officials said. Damage was estimated to be in excess of $300,000.
The injured firefighter was treated at the scene and released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
