New waste collector begins operations in Gurnee

Lakeshore Recycling Systems begins waste collection services in Gurnee this week for those who do not pay a homeowners associations for waste and recycling collection services.

Residents should start using LRS carts and follow the same waste and recycling guidelines as before. Those who pay for a yard waste subscription also should begin using their LRS cart.

Those unsure of their collection day can confirm it by visiting www.gurnee.il.us/LRS.

All residents that do not pay a homeowners associations for service should have their LRS carts. Those who do not have a cart should call the village of Gurnee at (847) 599-7500.
