World court has selective actions
Like the cicadas, the International Criminal Court, too, must have been lying dormant underground for the last 13 years.
Where was the ICC when the regime of President Bashar al-Assad killed over 500,000 of its own citizens since 2011? Where was the ICC when Pakistan expelled 1.7 million Afghan migrants in October 2023, threatening arrest for those who refused to leave? O r when the Islamic al-Shabaab Group committed over 100 acts of violence along the Kenya-Somalia border during the summer of 2023? Or last November when the Sudanese-Arab militia known as the Sudanese Rapid Support Force murdered almost 800 non-Arab men and children in a Darfur refugee camp?
Cicadas emerge from the ground due to its evolutionary composure. The ICC emerges from the ground only when Israel is the focus of its discriminatory anger and hatred of the Jewish state.
