Elgin church exploring ‘Faith & Civics’
This week, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin continues its summer series on “Faith and Civics.”
They will be exploring practical ways that being a Christian impacts how you live out your life and neighbors and citizens with others. They will look at why God wants you to have a government and what it is for, as well as how you are to be engaged and involved in it. The lessons will be Deuteronomy 16:18-20 and Mark 12:13-17.
Worship is at 5 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. There is coffee and discussion after the service.
