Summer Youth STEAM Camp: Fun and learning at Oakton College

When school is out, STEAM Camp steps in with a burst of excitement. Oakton College is thrilled to announce the Summer Youth STEAM Camp, designed to bring fun, adventure and future preparation to students aged 8-14. From June 10 to Aug. 1, join Oatkon on the Des Plaines campus for 14 different thrilling programs that will make your child’s summer unforgettable.

From aspiring artists to budding scientists, Oakton’s Summer Youth STEAM Camp has a program for everyone. This year, Oakton added the “A” for Arts by offering new art classes, including Swifty’s Theater Camp and Art Exploration. Additionally, introducing a hands-on class for aspiring doctors, Bones & Blood: It's What’s Inside that Counts.

For students aged 12-14, it’s time to gear up for high school and beyond with classes like Young Investors and Entrepreneurs and Model United Nations. These programs teach invaluable skills and provide a fresh perspective on business and global issues, empowering students for future success.

Each camp runs for four days, offering flexibility with morning and afternoon sessions and even the option to stay for lunch. Give your child a summer of growth and the potential for a life-changing experience.
