Libertyville Farmers Market to open for 44th year

The 44th annual Libertyville Farmers Market will open Thursday, May 30 in Cook Park, Milwaukee Avenue and Church Street in downtown.

The market will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 17.

Opening day festivities will begin at 9 a.m. with the long-standing official watermelon cutting ceremony.

More than 45 vendors offer seasonal produce, cheeses, dips, honey, sweets, bread, seafood, microgreens and other locally produced staples.
