Fremd sophomore to compete in nationals

Nicole Saletta, a sophomore at William Fremd High School, represented her school in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America state finals competition in Springfield in April.

Nicole won the bronze award for her research, development and presentation surrounding the subject of Family and Consumer Sciences. She goes on to represent Fremd in the nationals in Seattle in June at the FCCLA “Say Yes to FCS Education” competition.

This is first time someone from District 211 has made it to the nationals conference in 17 years.
