The Mundelein Historical Commission has a vacancy

The Mundelein Historical Commission is seeking applicants for a vacant seat on its seven-member board.

The commission advises the village board on recommended strategies, partnerships, and best practices to preserve Mundelein's history.

Over the past few years, commission members have updated all the Heritage Museum displays, introduced monthly old time radio shows for the community, launched pop-up museum events, and visited elementary schools with museum collections, to name just a few initiatives.
