Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Raises Record $153,000 in Support of Local Organizations

The Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club recently held its annual fundraiser, a night of comedic relief at Libertyville High School featuring The Second City. This event, which raised a record amount of $153,000, is set to make a significant impact on local charities and student scholarships, demonstrating the power of community support.

The evening would not have been possible without the dedication and support of the community, sponsors, volunteers and friends of the club. The club extended special thanks to The Second City for providing an evening of laughs, Libertyville Community High School for hosting the event, Austin’s Saloon & Eatery for hosting the after-party, the club's 11 Libertyville restaurant partners who offered pre-show meals and City of Hope Cancer Center for being the Title Sponsor.

“We are grateful to all the sponsors and supporters who helped us raise a record amount of funds and look forward to a continued partnership," Event chair Howard Jaffe said. "It’s great how the whole community can come forward to participate and enjoy an event like this, right here in Libertyville.”
