More anti-senior bias
Thank you, General Assembly, for continuing to discriminate against seniors as described in the May 8 editorial. Recently, at eighty-one years old, I returned from driving a 2100-mile round trip to Boston. I drove on interstate highways, through Boston traffic, and maneuvered the Edens, Kennedy, and Dan Ryan expressways through rainstorms and construction.
It is time to stop ageism and realize that many seniors, as well as young people, are capable excellent drivers and should be treated as such. Eliminate mandatory driving tests for seniors.
