Thank you 2024 Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive partners and participants

The Township of Schaumburg would like to share a sincere thank you to its donor community and Schaumburg postal workers for their generosity in the 2024 Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Each year the National Association of Letter Carriers hosts a nationwide drive the second Saturday in May. This year township received 3,875.44 pounds of food from the Schaumburg Post Office. In addition to these donations, the township extended the drive with the help of many community partners and received several hundred pounds of food from that effort. The township would like to thank the following partners who received donations at their locations:

— Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison

— State Rep. Fred Crespo

— Home Depot

— Motorola Solutions

— Schaumburg Park District

— Hoffman Estates Park District

— Schaumburg Township District Library

— Trickster Cultural Center

The donations from these food drives restock shelves and help those in need in our community.

The Township of Schaumburg Food Pantry is currently serving an average of 1,140 households each month, which is a 15% increase over last year. The donations received are greatly needed and appreciated. All donations make a difference in the life of your neighbors.

Thank you to all who participated.
