Hawthorn District 73 students shine at State Science Olympiad

Hawthorn School District 73 has announced outstanding its achievements at the recent State Science Olympiad competition held in Urbana Champaign. Both schools achieved their best performances ever in the history of the program. Hawthorn Middle North placed third out of 46 teams and Hawthorn Middle South came in eighth.

Coach Shital Sabharwal from Hawthorn Middle North was named Outstanding Coach, showing just how much she has helped the team succeed. The district thanks Krisha Vaswani, who assisted coach Shital Sabharwal; Noopur Bindal, who is Middle South's head coach; and Pooja Agrawal, who is Noopur's assistant coach; and all parents and volunteers who dedicated their time and effort.
