Buffalo Grove marks Parks and Public Services Day Saturday

Buffalo Grove and Buffalo Grove Park District are teaming to host Parks and Public Services Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Mike Rylko Community Park.

Planned activities include: Touch-a-Truck; hands-on activities and crafts; equipment and vehicle demonstrations beginning at 11 a.m.; and free custard from Culver’s.

Attendees also will have the chance to win raffle prizes from event sponsors and local businesses. Raffle prizes include wristbands to the 2024 Buffalo Grove Days carnival, free plays at WJ Golf and Bowlero, passes to park district facilities and events, Buffalo Grove merchandise and a customized street sign inscribed with the winner’s name.

The event will take place in the park’s southern parking lot, 951 McHenry Road, adjacent to the Spray ‘N Play. Parking for the event will be available next to the Buffalo Grove Golf Dome.
